Face Data Summary
PixelAI processes images that may contain facial information for AI image generation, AI video generation, image-to-video, image editing, and face-swap style features. Face data collection, use, disclosure, sharing, storage, and retention are explained in Section 1.2 Face Data, with additional details in Section 3 AI Processing, Section 4 Sharing and Disclosure, Section 5 Storage and Security, Section 6 Data Retention, and Section 7 Your Choices and Rights.
PixelAI provides AI-powered tools that let you upload photos, create or transform images, generate videos, preview and save results, review task history, submit feedback, and purchase subscriptions or credits.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 User Content
When you use PixelAI, we may collect the content you choose to provide so we can perform the feature you requested. This may include:
- Photos you upload from your photo library.
- Images and videos generated by the app for you.
- Text prompts, template selections, item IDs, and related creation inputs.
- Task history and preview assets associated with your account.
Your uploaded photos may contain faces. We use those photos only to provide the requested AI functionality.
1.2 Face Data
When you use AI image, AI video, image-to-video, or face-swap related features, PixelAI may process images that contain facial information. We collect and use face data only as follows:
- What we collect: We collect images that you upload or select which may contain your face or the face of other individuals, solely so we can perform the feature you requested.
- How we use it: We use face data exclusively to generate, transform, edit, merge, or preview the AI content you asked PixelAI to create. We do not use face data for identity verification, facial recognition, profiling, or advertising targeting.
- Disclosure and sharing: We do not sell face data. We do not share or disclose face data with advertisers or data brokers. Face data is handled only as described in this Privacy Policy and only to operate the service.
- Storage: Face data, when included in uploaded media or generated results, is stored only on your device and on systems used to operate PixelAI and deliver the requested processing. The mobile app does not send your face data directly from your device to a third-party AI SDK.
- Retention: Face data is processed temporarily. Based on the current app behavior and in-app retention notice, task content that may include face data is intended to be automatically deleted from active task storage within 2 hours after processing completion, unless a longer period is reasonably required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or resolving a support issue. You may also request deletion at any time, and we aim to process deletion requests within 30 days.
Face data collection, use, disclosure, sharing, and retention are explained in this section and in Sections 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 below.
1.3 Account and Session Data
PixelAI can create an anonymous app session so the service can keep track of your credits, subscription status, and content history. We may collect or generate:
- User ID and session tokens.
- Refresh tokens and related authentication metadata.
- Subscription status, subscription expiry, plan type, and credit balance.
1.4 Purchase and Subscription Data
If you buy a subscription or credit pack, we receive purchase-related data needed to validate the transaction and unlock your content, such as:
- Product ID, transaction ID, and plan type.
- Signed transaction and renewal information returned by Apple.
- Purchase result, verification result, and granted credits.
- Purchase amount and currency for analytics and attribution records.
1.5 Device, App, and Diagnostic Data
To operate the service, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and support analytics, we may collect:
- App ID, bundle ID, app version, and build version.
- Device model, iOS version, locale, time zone, screen size, and screen scale.
- Identifier for Vendor (IDFV).
- An app-generated device identifier stored in the iOS Keychain.
- App activity and event logs, including launch, anonymous registration, and first subscription events.
If you grant App Tracking Transparency permission, the Facebook SDK may also receive advertising-related identifiers and app event data as described in Section 4.
1.6 Feedback and Support Data
If you contact us through the in-app Feedback flow, we may collect your user ID, app version, feedback text, complaint type, task ID, and feedback submission time so we can respond and improve the product.
1.7 Photo Library Permission
PixelAI requests photo library access so you can upload source images and save generated images or videos back to your device. Saving to Photos happens only when you choose to save content.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide AI image and AI video generation, editing, preview, and history features.
- Upload and process the images you select for creation tasks.
- Verify subscriptions and consumable purchases and update your credits or subscription status.
- Maintain your app session and restore your content state across launches.
- Save generated content to your photo library when you request it.
- Detect abuse, secure the service, diagnose failures, and improve app performance.
- Measure app activation, registration, and first-subscription conversion events.
- Respond to support and feedback submissions.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. AI Processing and Third-Party AI Statement
PixelAI does not embed a third-party AI SDK that receives your photos, prompts, or face data directly from your device. Based on the current app architecture, AI-related requests are sent by the app only to backend endpoints used to operate PixelAI.
We do not share your content, including photos, prompts, generated results, or images containing faces, with third-party AI services directly from the mobile app. If our processing model changes in the future, we will update this Privacy Policy before materially changing how your data is handled.
AI processing may involve uploaded media, prompts, template identifiers, and generated outputs so that the app can deliver the feature you selected.
4. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the limited situations below:
4.1 Service Providers and Infrastructure
We may use service providers that help us host APIs, store task data, deliver authentication, and run the app backend. Based on the current app configuration, PixelAI uses backend infrastructure associated with Supabase-hosted services and related storage or networking components. These providers process data on our behalf and under our instructions.
4.2 Apple
Apple processes payment transactions made through StoreKit and controls subscription management inside your Apple account. Apple may also manage photo library permissions and content-save operations when you save generated media to Photos.
4.3 Meta / Facebook SDK
PixelAI uses the Facebook SDK for app analytics and attribution measurement. The app is configured to manually report a limited set of standard events, such as app activation, registration, and first subscription. These events may include app event metadata, product IDs, transaction IDs, purchase amount, purchase currency, and similar attribution fields.
If you authorize tracking through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt, the Facebook SDK may also collect or receive advertising-related identifiers and measurement data. If you decline tracking, advertiser ID collection is disabled in the SDK configuration used by the app.
We do not share uploaded photos, prompts, images containing faces, or generated media with Meta/Facebook for AI processing.
4.4 Legal and Safety Reasons
We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users, investigate fraud or abuse, enforce our agreements, or defend our rights.
5. Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, but we take steps appropriate to the nature of the data we process.
- On-device secure storage: Session tokens, refresh tokens, user ID, an app-generated device identifier, and a first-subscription analytics flag may be stored in the iOS Keychain.
- On-device caches: The app may store cached images, cached videos, subscription product data, task history snapshots, user status, and credit package data on your device using iOS caches or UserDefaults to improve performance.
- Server-side storage: Uploaded media, generated results, purchase verification records, and task metadata may be stored on systems used to operate PixelAI and deliver the requested service.
- Transmission: The app sends API requests over network connections to our backend services.
6. Data Retention
6.1 AI Task Content and Face Data
Uploaded images, generated outputs, task previews, and other task content that may contain face data are intended to be automatically deleted from active task storage within 2 hours after processing completion, consistent with the current in-app retention notice. Limited copies may remain briefly in backups, logs, or security systems where reasonably necessary.
6.2 Feedback, Billing, and Security Records
We may retain feedback submissions, billing verification records, fraud-prevention records, and operational logs for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, investigate abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.
6.3 Local Device Storage
Keychain entries, local caches, and app preferences may remain on your device until they expire, are overwritten, are removed by the operating system, or are deleted when you clear the app or uninstall it. Some Keychain items may persist across reinstalls unless explicitly cleared.
6.4 Deletion Requests
You may request deletion of eligible account, task, or support data at any time. We aim to process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal, billing, fraud-prevention, and security retention requirements.
7. Your Choices and Rights
- Photo access: You can manage photo library access in iOS Settings at any time.
- Tracking permission: You can grant or deny tracking through the App Tracking Transparency prompt and later change that choice in iOS Settings.
- Subscriptions: Apple manages subscription billing, cancellation, and renewal settings through your Apple account.
- Deletion requests: You can request deletion of eligible data through the in-app FAQ or Feedback entry, or through the support contact made available on the App Store listing for PixelAI.
- Local data: Removing the app or clearing app data on your device may remove locally stored caches and preferences, but server-side or billing records may remain as described in this policy.
8. Children's Privacy
PixelAI is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us using the support methods described below so we can review and delete the information if appropriate.
9. International Transfers
PixelAI and its service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. By using the app, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions that may have different data protection laws than your home jurisdiction.
